Course Description

16 Cowrie Divination –

Idaasa Eerindinlogun (Ídàáṣà Ẹẹ́rìndínlógún) is one of the oldest primordial divination system, second only to the Obi (Kola Nut). Introduced and established into the world by Obatala , this system preserves the older aspects of reality, the highest standard of wisdom, moral integrity as well as guidance to achieve one’s purpose.

Beyond the ritual and beyond feeding, Obatala teaches that proper judgment and wisdom at times are your best remedy. As Obatala devotees we provide a deep and through analysis of the 8 hidden parts and 3 layers of each Ẹsẹ (poem) to fully make use of the divination system.

This is designed for Oosa Funfun devotees to address the need of True Black Mental Health Services by understanding the moral, ethical, and behavioral principles encoded in each poems. By study and application initiates, devotees and their clients can cultivate spiritual discipline, psychic awareness, and natural mental wellness, by creating a deeper connection to Obatala and Yemoo.

16 Cowrie being older than Ifa reflects an older perspective on cosmology, cosmogony and the origins of creation, and preserving the wisdom of prior genesis. This deepens the practitioner’s understanding of order and the personal and generational responsibilities in the afterlife.

This is a growing archive of the 16 Cowrie system, with over 800 poems for each Odu, carefully restored and analyzed for spiritual and practical use. We have the chants transcribed and translated, as well stories to majority of the poems which will be added on a continual basis. We are the primary source of the preservation of Obatala’s divination system and are devoted to its teachings for future generations. By maintaining and expanding this archive, White Juju ensures that the wisdom, chants, and liturgies of Obatala remain accessible to devotees, initiates, and scholars worldwide.
